Publish blogpost to your Wordpress Site

Mavic connects to self-hosted WordPress sites, letting you publish and schedule blog posts directly from your content workflow.

Prerequisites

Before connecting:

1. You need a WordPress user account with permission to publish posts
2. An Application Password generated from your WordPress profile (see below)

How to connect

1. Click Integrations in the side navigation, then select Social.
2. Click Connect and select WordPress
3. Fill in your Site Address, Username, and Application Password (This is not your WordPress account password. In WordPress, go to Users → Profile → Application Passwords, give it a name, and copy the generated password.)
4. Click Validate and Connect.

Your WordPress site now shows as Connected.

How to publish a blogpost

Once connected:

1. Click on the article you want to publish.
2. On the right side panel, click Schedule.
3. Select your publish date and click Publish.

Your post will now appear on your WordPress blog.

Common issues

• "Validation failed" — double-check your site address includes https:// and that the Application Password was copied correctly (no extra spaces).
• "Incorrect credentials" — make sure you're using your WordPress username, not your email address.
• Connection lost — reconnect via Integrations → WordPress → Reconnect and generate a new Application Password if needed.
