Can't connect a social channel?


If a social channel won't connect, run through this checklist before reaching out for support.


1. Make sure you have admin permissions


Most platforms require you to be an admin (or equivalent) on the page or account you're trying to connect. If you're not:


  • Ask the page admin to update your permissions, or
  • Ask the admin to log in directly during the connection flow


2. Enable browser pop-ups


Authentication runs through pop-up windows. If your browser blocks them, the auth flow fails silently.


  • Click the pop-up blocker icon (usually in the address bar) and allow pop-ups for app.mavic.ai.
  • Try a different browser if your current one has aggressive security settings.


3. Approve every requested permission


When the platform asks you to approve permissions, don't skip any. Each one is required.


If you accidentally skipped some, disconnect and reconnect — this time approve them all.


4. Log in with the right account


Make sure you're logging in with:


  • The account that has admin access to the page
  • The correct email (not a personal email when the page is owned by a work account, or vice versa)


If you're already logged into the platform in another tab as the wrong user, log out first.

6. If a previously connected channel started failing


Tokens expire periodically. If posts that used to publish are now failing:


  1. Go to Integrations.
  2. Find the channel — it'll show a warning if the token is expired.
  3. Click Reconnect and re-authenticate.


7. Still stuck?


Reach out via the chat widget inside the platform with:


  • The channel you're trying to connect
  • The exact error message (screenshot is best)
  • The account email you're logging in with (don't share the password)
