X accounts connection

X (formerly Twitter) connects via OAuth.

How to connect

1. Click Integrations in the side navigation.
2. Find X and click Connect.
3. Allow browser pop-ups.
4. Log in to X.
5. Approve the requested permissions.
6. Confirm.

What you can do

• Publish text and image posts (single tweets and threads)
• Schedule via Planner
• Pull post engagement (likes, reposts, replies, impressions)

Threads (multi-post tweets)

To publish a thread:

1. Create the post in Mavic.
2. Indicate it's a thread — Mavic will split appropriately.
3. Each tweet in the thread can have its own image.
4. Schedule or publish — Mavic posts them as a connected thread.

Character limits

• Free accounts: 280 characters per tweet
• Premium accounts: longer character limits supported (Mavic detects automatically)

Common issues

• Rate limits — X has aggressive rate limits. If you hit one, wait a few minutes and retry.
• Token expired — re-authenticate via Integrations → X → Reconnect.
