Switching Workspace
Switching workspaces and teams
Mavic supports multiple brand workspaces within one team, and you can also belong to multiple teams. This article covers how to navigate between them.
What's the difference between a brand workspace and a team?
- Brand workspace — a single brand's complete setup: Brand DNA, Planner, Library, connected channels. Each brand has its own.
- Team — a group of people who share access to one or more brands. Billing happens at the team level.
So: one team can have many brands. One person can belong to many teams.
Switching brand workspaces
The brand selector is at the top-left of the screen, next to the Mavic logo.
- Click the brand selector.
- Pick the brand you want to work in.
- The whole app context switches — your Brand DNA, Planner, Library, and chats all reflect the new brand.
You can also create a new brand from this dropdown — see Creating a new brand workspace.
Switching teams
If you belong to multiple teams (e.g. an agency that manages teams for multiple clients):
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Look for Switch team.
- Pick the team.
The brand selector now shows the brands in that team.
Creating a new brand workspace
- Click the brand selector at the top-left.
- Click + Create Brand.
- Walk through the same onboarding flow as your first brand. See Quickstart.
Archiving a brand
If you no longer need a brand workspace but don't want to lose its data:
- Open the brand.
- Go to Brand DNA → Brand Overview (or Settings → Brand, depending on workspace).
- Click Archive Brand.
- Confirm.
Archived brands are hidden from the brand selector but their data is preserved. To restore: open team settings → Archived brands → Restore.
Tips
- Use one brand per business / persona. Don't try to cram a personal brand and a company brand into the same workspace — their Brand DNA will fight each other.
- Name brands clearly. "Acme Corp — main" and "Acme Corp — internal" is clearer than "Acme" twice.
- Archive instead of deleting. You'll often want to come back to old data.
