A bio is your 150-character pitch. Mavic can write platform-perfect bios in seconds — but only if your Brand DNA is set up first. Here's how to get bios that actually drive profile clicks and follows.
Before you start
Make sure you have these saved in Brand DNA:
- Brand positioning (what you do, who for)
- Brand personality (tone words)
- Customer profile (who you're talking to)
- Products / services (what you offer)

Instagram bio (150 characters)
Open a new chat and type:
Write 5 Instagram bio options for @Brand Positioning targeting @Customer Profile. Keep each under 150 characters, use line breaks, include 1-2 emojis, and end with a clear CTA.
What makes a great IG bio:
- Line 1: Who you help (1 line, plain language)
- Line 2: What makes you different (proof, niche, or hook)
- Line 3: CTA — "Shop below ↓", "Free guide ↓", "DM 'START'"
- Add a branded hashtag if you run one
Pro tip: Ask Mavic to "give me 3 bold versions and 3 calm versions" so you can A/B test tone.
LinkedIn bio (headline + about)
LinkedIn has two slots — Headline (220 char) and About (2,600 char). Ask for both:
Write a LinkedIn headline and About section using @Brand Positioning and @Writing Style. Headline should be benefit-led, About should be 4 short paragraphs with 1 line breaks between.
Headline formula that works:
[What you do] for [who] | [proof point or differentiator] | [CTA]
About section structure:
- Hook (1 sentence — the problem you solve)
- Who you serve and how
- Credibility line (numbers, clients, years)
- CTA — book a call, DM, follow
X / Twitter bio (160 characters)
Write 5 Twitter bio options using @Brand Positioning. 160 char max. Punchy, lowercase optional, 1 emoji max.
X bios reward personality over polish. Test:
- A "what + why" version
- A "credentials" version
- A "running joke" version
Refresh quarterly
Bios go stale. Set a quarterly reminder to:
- Review profile click rate (Instagram Insights, LinkedIn analytics)
- Re-prompt Mavic with any new launches or proof points
- Update across all platforms in one chat session
