Analyze Socials

Analyze socials

The Socials view in Analyze shows per-channel performance for each connected social account. Use it to find your best- and worst-performing posts and decide what to do more (or less) of.

How to open

Click Analyze → Socials in the side navigation.

Picking a channel

At the top of the page, switch between connected channels: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Threads, TikTok, Bluesky.

Each channel has its own set of metrics specific to that platform.

Date range

Default is the last 30 days. Adjust to:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 30 days
  • Last 90 days
  • Custom range

For meaningful patterns, look at 30+ days. Anything shorter is noisy.

Metrics shown

Common across channels:

  • Reach — unique accounts that saw your content
  • Impressions — total views
  • Engagement rate — likes + comments + shares + saves, divided by reach
  • Follower growth
  • Best-performing post — by engagement
  • Worst-performing post — useful to learn from
  • Posting cadence — actual vs. target

Channel-specific metrics:

  • Instagram — saves, profile visits, story exits
  • LinkedIn — impressions per follower, click-through rate
  • TikTok — average watch time, completion rate
  • X — reposts, replies, profile visits
  • Facebook — reactions breakdown, shares per post

Filtering

Filter to find what you need:

  • Format — images, carousels, reels, stories, text
  • Topic — by content theme
  • Day of week / time of day
  • With/without hashtags

Top-post and worst-post analysis

Click any top-performing post to see:

  • Why it worked (engagement breakdown)
  • Audience demographics that interacted
  • Suggested follow-up posts

Same for worst-performing — useful for spotting what to avoid.

Connecting analyze data back to action

Once you spot a pattern, act:

  • Top format wins → run more of that format. Update Content Theme.
  • Specific topic underperforming consistently → drop it from your plan or change the angle.
  • Best time of day identified → use it for your highest-effort posts.
  • Carousel beats image → invest in carousel templates.

Tips

  • Look at engagement rate, not raw likes. Likes scale with audience size; engagement rate normalizes.
  • Don't optimize for one platform's quirks. A great Instagram post and a great LinkedIn post are different things.
  • Ask Mavic for a take. Once you've spotted a pattern in Analyze, paste the highlight into the chat and ask: "What should I do differently next month?"
